At St. Aloysius, we believe that praise and worship are an active, dynamic, integral link between God and His people. This ministry seeks to serve Him humbly in a spirit of excellence through music and to lead others into His presence so that we glorify God as one body with one voice through one Spirit. Opportunities to be a part of this ministry are available for those gifted with musical ability who have the desire to serve.

The St. Aloysius Youth Choir
Rehearsals Thursday nights 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.  Youth must have good pitch ability. Cooperation with parents and children to commit to rehearsals, worship events very important.  No audition required

The St. Aloysius Adult Choir
We are always excited to have new faces in the worship choir. It takes choir members coming to rehearsal each week and learning their voice parts for weekend liturgies, future holy days and feast days. We invite you to join us.

Rehearsal - Thursday nights - 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM during the school year.
Sing in one Sunday morning service, major feast days Christmas and Easter Week, and various special events such as Thanksgiving morning Mass.
Ability to read music is a plus, but not required. No audition required!

The St. Aloysius Worship Choir
This is a new group that we formed this summer. We sang for two summer litugies this past summer at the 5pm mass with the Contemporary Band. During the year we would like to schedule several more masses with the Worship Choir. This group consists of some members of the Adult Choir, the Youth Choir, Cantor ministry and new folks are most welcome to join too. Ability to read voice parts is a plus. Look for more information in the bulletin as to when we will pull together to sing for a 5pm Mass on a Sunday night. You are invited to participate and share in the praise and joy of the Lord. Some singing experience may be necessary.

The St. Aloysius Cantor Ministry
Experience and the ability to read music are necessary. Requires leadership. Communication skills are also very important. Weekly rehearsals are required.

The St. Aloysius Contemporary Worship Band
The St. Aloysius Contemporary Worship Band leads in worship each week Sundays at 5:00 PM and for many special events that include praise and worship. Do you have experience playing drums, percussions, guitar, bass, or
keyboard/piano? We would love to talk to you.

Experience playing in a band as well as the ability to read music and chord charts required. Weekly rehearsals required.  Must be at least 16 years old. Please email Gina Corrao to set up an audition.

To join the music ministry, we request that you:

  • Be an actively participating member of St. Aloysius Parish
  • Be actively pursuing a close relationship with the Lord
  • Be teachable and able to receive direction from leadership
  • Commit to 6 months of ministry with the choir
  • Complete interview/audition
  • Attend weekly rehearsals in the church each week and be punctual for pre-service rehearsals.*

Youth Choir: Thursday 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Cantor Ministry: Thursday 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Worship Choir: Wednesday 7:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Contemporary Worship Band: Thursday 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Beginning the month of September!
Monday nights:
Cantor Rehearsal - 7:00pm to 8:00pm (except for the 3rd Monday of the month)
Contemporary Band Rehearsals - 8:00pm to 9:30pm and (Tuesday nights 8:00pm the 3rd week of the month).                                 
Thursday nights:
Youth Choir - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Adult Choir - 7:30pm to 9:00pm
