Mission Jersey 2014 - from Sunday July 27 to Friday August 1.

We will repair homes and restore hopes for those who have experienced devastation in Super Storm Sandy.

**All Teens in High School are invited to come and help make a significant difference in the lives of families in need. We will join 4 other youth groups! This can be one of the most powerful experiences we have together and is one that will never be forgotten!

Vacation Bible School

Weird Animals is the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School which will take place at St. Aloysius School from July 28 to August 1, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for children entering Kindergarten to 4th Grade in September 2014. Cost is $60 per child, $100 for 2 sib-lings or $120 for 3 or more siblings.

Everyone who attended last year should have received a flyer and registration form in the mail already. Mail in registrations are now being accepted. St. Aloysius Men’s Group is a collection of men from the parish who are seeking to become better Catholic men through fellowship, prayer, study, and putting faith in action. We meet the 1st Wednesday of the month at the Knights of Columbus Hall and the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Parish Office—both at 8:00 p.m. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, August 6 at the KoC. Yearly Collection for School Supplies - to benefit Catholic Charities

It has become our custom in August that instead of food we use our monthly collection to gather school supplies. Catholic Charities will distribute these to children in need of materials for going back to school. Our St. Vincent de Paul clients use the resources of Catholic Charities.

The collection dates are the weekend of August 16 and 17. Bring items to the Gathering Space. Suggestions: Back Packs, Colored Pencils, Composition Books, Crayons, Erasers, Glue Sticks, HighLighters, Index cards, Loose Leaf Binders, Loose Leaf Paper, Pencils, Pens, Report Folders, Scissors, Spiral Notebooks. RCIA Reunion - Keeping Current

We'll share our faith, talk about our experiences since initiation, and engage in continued education in the faith. Jackson Rotary Charitable Foundation Golf Outing

The Jackson Rotary Charitable Foundation is holding their 7th Annual Jackson Rotary Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, August 18 at Westlake Golf & Country Club. The cost is $130 per person or $520 for a foursome which includes a Continental Breakfast, Golf with Cart, Luncheon, Beverages & Prizes.

At the outing we will also be hosting a Golf Raffle of 17 Golf Foursomes with Carts to Area Golf Clubs including Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson and a set of Lessons with the Pros at Manasquan River Golf Club. Price for a ticket to win 1 of 18 Prizes is $20.

For more than 41 years, The Jackson Rotary Club and its’ Foundation have been serving the needs of the Jackson Community supporting community projects including an annual special needs fishing derby and family picnic, support for the Jackson Food Pantry, support for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, dictionaries for all 3rd Grade Students in Jackson, scholarships for high school students, provision of school supplies to needy students, support for deployed military personnel and their families and many more.

Little Children of God
Sunday, September 7, 2014

Children from ages three to seven are welcome to participate in a Children’s Liturgy of the Word at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass throughout the school year. The children are dismissed to the Old Church before the first reading, and then experience God’s Word through song, games and crafts during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. The children return to Mass after the Prayer of the Faithful. LCoG is on a break during the summer and will resume on Sunday, September 7.
