Saint Aloysius Music Ministry
Monday, July 27, 2015

If you are reading this, and if you like to sing or if you play an instrument- you belong in Music Ministry! St. Augustine said, “When we sing, we pray twice”. Where better to multiply that offer-ing than during Mass, surrounded by a faithful family of fellow musicians? No matter your age or skill level, there is a place for you! Our music ministries include Youth Choir, Adult Choir, Cantor Ministry, and Contemporary Band. If you are interested, be courageous and come say hello after Mass! Or, email Naomi at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Hope to meet you soon!

Knights of Columbus Council 6201
Monday, July 27, 2015

The Knights of Columbus Council 6201 on Bartley Road in Jackson is always looking for new brothers to join us in our endeavors to provide for those less fortunate. Some events include our Race-for-Life to raise money for a family in our community who has been dealing with a diagnosis of cancer and the related expenses. Our Tootsie Roll Drive raises money for intellectually disabled children and our Charity Golf event raises money for numerous organizations including Deborah Hospital. During the holidays we assemble and donate food baskets to those in need in our community. We also have social events in which families are welcome and our council is a great way to meet other men in our community and make new friends. If you are a parishioner of St. Aloysius and have wondered how to listen to God's calling about involving yourself to help those less fortunate, please contact Dave Idank .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call at 732-942-1896.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015

Important update regarding Saint Aloysius Religious Education Registration. All students who will be attending the St. Aloysius Religious Education program for the 2015/2016 school year MUST be registered by August 4*, 2015. After this date, there will be a $75 late fee AND the student will have to be home schooled, with the exception of those en-tering 2nd and 8th grade this year who must be in a classroom setting. If you have questions, please call the Religious Education Office at 732-370-1515 ext. 314 or 318.

Also, we still need Teachers, Class Aids and Hall Angels for the Saint Aloysius Religious Education Registration. We are putting together our classes for the 2015-2016 Religious Education year and are asking for your help. Please consider shar-ing your faith and time as a teacher, class aid or hall angel. Our program would not be a success without the wonderful volunteers that we have.
